Michael, a dedicated real estate professional with a passion for helping investors grow their portfolios and guiding families to find the perfect place to purchase to call home or to help sell their current home. With a deep belief in the power of real estate as a stable, long-term investment, Michael is committed to helping his clients achieve their financial goals and dreams.

Michael's commitment to community runs deep. Having served 15 years in law enforcement throughout the greater metro Atlanta area, he brings a unique blend of trustworthiness, expertise, and local knowledge. His leadership extends beyond his career, with numerous board-level roles in community and professional organizations, always striving to make a positive impact.

Outside of real estate, Michael cherishes his family time, including being a proud "dog dad" to eight rescue dogs. He finds peace in the North Georgia mountains, enjoys quiet evenings by the fire, and relishes a good conversation over a cigar at his favorite cigar shop in Blue Ridge.

Kent Grothe came to the real estate industry after a successful operations career working in multiple industries. His last corporate position was with Airgas where he served as the VP of Operations for the Specialty Products division with responsibility for 27 locations around the country with over 250 people and $100 million in fixed and rolling assets. Property Management was the perfect fit that Kent was looking for when he decided to leave the corporate world and pursue a career that would get him off the road to give him more time to spend with family.

With over 20 years of experience in managing people, customer service, finances, physical assets, and complex projects, Kent’s strong skill allows him to provide the highest levels of service and problem solving to his clients. Kent and his wife Kirsten moved to Gwinnett County 16 years ago and currently live in Sugar Hill with their two children. Outside of work Kent enjoys playing tennis, reading, Cornhusker Football, traveling for pleasure, and anything involving real estate.

Rhona AbujanBookkeeping Coordinator

Rhona brings years of experience performing different accounts receivable functions. She has a strong familiarity with collections, query solutions, and processing payments. Rhona is a Business Management graduate with a major in Financial Management. Rhona brings experience working in property management companies and an ability to report on company financial health and liquidity. She also has experience working with a major hardware company as a bookkeeper prior to working in property management.

As the Bookkeeping Coordinator, Rhona leads the accounting team for all of PMI Mountain Gateway. Managing the trust accounting, accounts receivable, payment processing, and real estate escrow account management. She also handles all profit/loss statements and financial health and liquidity reports.

She’s had a number of different roles in her career that has given her the experience at providing great customer service. She ensures that the PMI’s Brand Position that “we are the property management people” is demonstrated every day.
